A series of images robbed of their color. Converted to black and white via Photoshop's Channel Mixer, then adjusted with Curves or Levels to create desirable contrast and balance.
The candidates for this series were some of my favorite color images. As such, it was nearly painful for me to take away their color, but it made me work harder to find them a new way in which to shine. If I feel ambitious maybe I'll make a Javascript-driven before/after gallery at some point...
